BPL 2019-20 Schedule, Tickets & Team SquadsThe Bangladesh Premier League is a T20 tournament held domestically in Bangladesh and in the seventh season, there will be EIGHT teams representing eight different cities in the country taking part in the tournament. The next edition of the BPL, which will now be played from December 5, 2019, with the opening ceremony to be held on 4 December 2019. The final of the tournament will be played on January 11, 2020, with the tournament to be played over a period of more than a month.

This year’s Bangladesh Premier League will see eight teams participating in the competition instead of seven. That’s because Chittagong Vikings’ contract was cancelled for this season and they have been replaced by two new teams.
The contracts of all the cricketers have been declared null and void and will all go into the BPL Draft for the next edition.

BPL T20 7th edition tickets will go on sale soon. Interested fans can buy the tickets online or through stadium ticket office booths. Last year, the tickets year cost between 200 to 2000 taka and could be purchased online at shohoz.com.

Teams play on a home and away basis and the top four sides make it to the playoffs. However, matches are not exactly played at home and away, and are distributed among a set, pre-decided venues. A total of 42 games will be played during the league stage of the tournament with each side playing 12 of them. The top four will then be involved in the playoffs where the top two sides will get two chances to make it to the final.
